When you deckle the edge of your paper, you create a soft, uncut, random deckled edge that art professionals and fine stationery houses use to add elegance and distinction. Art Deckle is a high quality stainless steel ruler with a wavy edge that lets you achieve the deckled edge. Forget the natural grain of fine paper. You can get another beautiful and elegant look by using the Art Deckle for blind embossing, too. After tearing the deckled edge of the paper, turn the paper over, move the ruler back 1/8" or so from the deckle, and emboss with the fine end of an embossing stylus.
